YDF International became a client of ours through positive word-of-mouth, which is our most common and preferred method of gaining customers. As a Chinese brand that wanted to enter the American market, it was fairly obvious from their marketing materials that they were not an American brand. In order to gain a competitive edge, they asked up to “American-ize” their catalog. No problem!

One of the main things we avoided was the color red, which is heavily associated with China. Their original catalog has lots of photography collages, a dated method of showing off factory capabilities. Our updated design avoided over-utilizing photos and focused more heavily on the products themselves.
