A 3D downhole and flowback sequence uses accurate rigs, manifolds, and snubbing units, showing motion that is slow enough to read from the lobby, yet detailed enough to feel authentic to operations and engineering visitors.
Overview
Overview
Summary
We designed a nonstop lobby loop that introduces Ranger at a glance. The program sequences Well Services, Wireline Services, and Fishing Services with clean title cards, service footage, and photoreal 3D inserts. A technology section highlights Ranger Live applications, followed by a fast logo build to “Ranger Leads The Way.” Silent by design, the piece relies on typography, pacing, and composition to inform visitors while they wait.
Project Goals & Purpose
From the first walk through, it was clear the screen needed to speak without sound. We planned a loop that orients executives and guests in seconds, then cycles through service stories at a measured pace that never feels rushed. The backbone is a modular structure, title cards for Well Services, Wireline Services, and Fishing Services, each supported by on brand graphics and 3D assets of rigs, manifolds, and snubbing units. A dedicated technology chapter showcases Ranger Live, covering KPI reporting, hydraulics, torque, and drag modeling with UI framed motion that reads without narration. Ranger Elite features required additional models so the field story stayed current. Every segment uses simple iconography, clear labeling, and predictable motion to keep comprehension high from across the room.
We maintain this asset under a monthly creative partnership, the same rhythm clients know from a Design Retainer Service, so future tool updates or service expansions can drop in quickly. For teams evaluating Corporate Design Solutions, the goal is consistent orientation, credible visuals, and a loop that feels polished from open to close, every hour of the day.
Challenges
A lobby is an ambient space, so the video had to communicate without narration or loud visual tricks. Screen distance and glare varied throughout the day. The program needed enough momentum to reward short watch times, yet enough restraint to loop all day without fatigue. Ranger Elite features evolved during production, which required new 3D models and careful integration. Finally, service categorization had to remain obvious even when scenes changed quickly.
Solutions
We established a modular sequence with bold, legible title cards and a consistent motion grammar. Photoreal 3D inserts explained downhole and flowback processes clearly, while live action and UI frames introduced Ranger Live without relying on audio. Category color cues and icon sets reinforced Well, Wireline, and Fishing at every transition. A measured tempo avoided strobing effects and visual noise. Maintained through our On-Demand Creative Services within a predictable Design Retainer Service, the loop can absorb new tools or metrics rapidly, an example of Corporate Design Solutions built for continuity.
Client Reception
Client appreciated how the loop welcomed visitors immediately, clarified offerings without narration, and felt premium on large displays. Leadership noted that the modular structure made later updates straightforward. Teams praised how neat the 3D segments and Ranger Live was to see. The piece became a reliable front door asset for tours, interviews, and executive meetings.
Watch Now!
I wanted the lobby loop to feel like a confident handshake, something that greets visitors, explains Ranger clearly, and looks great from across the room without needing sound. Building the service chapters around Well, Wireline, and Fishing kept orientation simple. The 3D inserts let us explain complex work honestly, while the Ranger Live pieces show how technology supports the crews behind the scenes. It is the kind of piece that rewards a short wait and still holds up after hours on repeat.

- Predi Designs was tasked with creating a detailed 3D animation to demonstrate the operation and benefits of a bypass pig valve within a realistic pipeline setting. The primary objective was to illustrate the pigging process, showing how the valve facilitates maintenance, cleaning, and inspection while keeping flow uninterrupted.
- Predi Designs created a high-impact 3D animation that visually explained Ranger Energy Services’ drillout and flowback process. This project kicked off a long-term design subscription, where we developed a wide range of visuals for print, digital, and corporate materials utilizing the assets generated from this project.
