If a product dominated its category, it wasn’t just another listing—it was a full-page feature, reinforcing its market importance.

Beyond curation, this project was about crafting a catalog that could evolve. The assets we created weren’t locked to a single print cycle—they became a long-term resource. From layered product cutouts to category-based color coordination, every design choice allowed for future adaptability, ensuring Enersafe could update and repurpose their visuals without starting from scratch.

Challenges

Designing a retail catalog for Enersafe meant navigating inconsistent product imagery from multiple manufacturers. Some suppliers provided high-resolution, well-lit photos, while others had low-quality or outdated visuals that didn’t match the modern aesthetic we were aiming for. This inconsistency posed a major challenge in maintaining a cohesive, high-end look across all product pages.

Additionally, Enersafe’s inventory was extensive, and they wanted to streamline their product offerings without alienating customers who were used to seeing a larger selection. Striking the right balance between product consolidation and variety required careful data analysis and layout planning to ensure their best-sellers received the visibility they deserved without overwhelming the catalog.

Solutions

We implemented a color-coded system to differentiate business sections while maintaining a consistent brand identity. Using sales data, we focused only on high-performing products, reducing clutter and making the catalog more impactful. For restricted brands, we conducted custom product photography, ensuring all visuals met the highest standards while complying with manufacturer display requirements.
