Summary
We partnered with McCord Development to elevate their marketing through aerial footage that captures the true size of Generation Park. Instead of relying solely on narration or maps, we embedded 3D floating text into wide drone shots using motion tracking, giving viewers immediate spatial context for landmarks, roads, and development zones like GP EtoW and Project Titan. These visual cues gave scale to every frame and transformed scenic flyovers into high-impact sales tools. As a growing design partner for real estate teams, we constantly push our skills, this project challenged us to use new tracking techniques in After Effects and Premiere Pro, ultimately producing a compelling video for the team at McCord.
Project Goals & Purpose
Marketing a master-planned community requires content that makes abstract acreage tangible. For Generation Park, we saw aerial drone footage as a blank canvas to contextualize growth. Viewers can admire scale, but ironically it’s the white floating text that makes it real. As a subscription-based design agency, we don’t shy away from unfamiliar tools. We grow with our clients. This project pushed us technically, and we leaned into the challenge by learning new motion tracking features and real-world workflows. The result? A scalable video solution that not only boosts current engagement, but sets the tone for future expansions. Challenges
Aerial footage is beautiful, but it can be vague. Without landmarks or captions, viewers may struggle to understand what they’re seeing, especially in a sprawling development like Generation Park. Our challenge was to add context without clutter, and we had to do so using tracking techniques we hadn’t fully mastered at the start of the project. The learning curve was steep, and the footage was unforgiving, every bump and light shift tested our technical limits.
Solutions
We studied and implemented motion-tracking workflows in After Effects, learning how to pin text in 3D space so it moved naturally with the drone's path. We embraced this as an opportunity to grow and expand our skillset, knowing that stronger capabilities mean more creative freedom for our clients. As a brand design subscription service, we thrive on repeat collaborations where we get better with every request. The final product is clean, cinematic, and strategic, just what Generation Park needed to capture attention and build interest.
Client Reception
McCord was impressed with the integration of motion graphics into their footage and has since requested a master edit to combine all segments into a polished showcase video. They appreciated our adaptability and drive to continually evolve.

I took on this drone video project knowing it would stretch my skillset. I taught myself how to motion-track in After Effects, how to color-grade aerial footage for visibility, and how to give this footage the context it needed to accurately display the scope of Generation Park through video.
