Just Applied!

What Happens Next?

We will review your application and get back to you. If we aren’t looking for new designers at that moment, we will keep you on file for when there’s an opening.

All new team members begin with a short-term contract. It’s a chance for both of us to assess whether or not we’re the right fit. We look for people who can handle the work volume, communicate well, and align with our client-first mindset. If it feels like a good match, we move forward with hiring full-time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ask About Careers

We know applying for creative roles can come with a lot of questions, especially when the job isn’t your typical in-house gig. This Careers FAQ is here to clarify how we work, what we expect from our team, and what you can expect in return.

If you’re exploring your next big move or just curious about our process, you’ll find answers to the most common questions below.

Hiring & Onboarding

We’re a small, selective team, so our hiring process is intentional and thorough. We value thoughtful portfolios, clear communicators, and strong characters as much as raw design talent.

We’re always open to working with talented designers. If you’re interested, feel free to apply at any time. Please include your portfolio, resume, and several professional references. If your work aligns with our standards, we’ll reach out to schedule a remote interview.

All new hires begin with a short-term contract as a trial run. This gives us time to assess your workflow, responsiveness, and compatibility with our subscription model. Near the end of that contract, we’ll make a formal decision about extending an offer. We take our reputation seriously, so finding the right fit matters just as much as finding the right talent.

We’re looking for real-world examples of versatility, creative problem-solving, and strong attention to detail. Bonus points for projects showing cross-medium skills like animation, branding, or layout work.

We understand that life happens. If you’re unavailable for any reason (vacation, illness, or something unexpected) we can temporarily redistribute your client load to another designer so projects stay on track.

Yes. We understand that timing and growth can change everything. If you’ve updated your portfolio or gained new experience, feel free to reapply in the future.

We ask that all designers keep their directories well-organized, with standardized file structures and clear email labeling in their inboxes. That way, if we need to temporarily reassign your workload, the transition is smooth and your clients continue receiving excellent service without disruption.

Work Expectations

Our ideal designers are proactive, organized, and able to balance multiple projects without unnecessary stress. Our focus is on results that make our clients happy.

We maintain a high bar for talent. Every designer goes through a thorough review process that includes portfolio evaluation, resume checks, reference reviews, and remote interviews. If they pass those stages, we bring them on for a trial run to assess not only their skills but also their fit with our team culture and client expectations. We’re selective for a reason.

Our clients deserve the best!

Only if absolutely necessary. We’re passionate about delivering quality work during standard working hours. We plan our workload realistically and discourage a culture of burnout.

Our goal is to assign no more than 5–6 clients per designer. This allows time for thoughtfulness, creativity, and consistent turnaround. Designers are expected to stay organized, responsive, and focused.

Not at all. We value range, curiosity, and adaptability more than deep specialization. Our best designers are those who can stretch across multiple media types with confidence, even if they’re not experts in every category.

At the end of the day, we are a team. You will have other designers available to you if you need assistance with anything new.

No. We don’t monitor screens, track mouse movement, or measure software usage. We care about outcomes, not hours. If you complete your work efficiently and keep clients happy, how you structure your day is entirely up to you.

Absolutely. If you’ve cleared your inbox, delivered quality work, and your clients are satisfied, you’re free to structure your time however you like.

Long lunch? Afternoon walk? Go for it! As long as nothing slips through the cracks, we’re good.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a flexible pay structure that grows with your workload while avoiding burnout. While we don’t offer full corporate benefits yet, our compensation model is fair, transparent, and built for long-term collaboration.

We provide our full-time designers with a respectable base salary for handling a single client. For every additional client they take on, they receive an additional monthly bonus. This system allows flexibility and rewards performance.

We do not allow designers to take on too much at once. We are a quality over quantity company.

Not yet. As a growing company, we’re actively exploring benefit options, but we can’t offer those at this stage. We’re transparent about where we are and plan to revisit benefits as we grow.

Our goal is to provide designers everything they need eventually. If we hire you full-time, we hope you’ll stick around.

We begin all relationships with a contract trial, but we’re ultimately looking to build a trusted team of full-time, remote professionals. If you’re the right fit, we’ll grow together.

Yes. All positions are fully remote. We only ask that you work standard U.S. business hours and maintain strong communication habits.

If you are working in a public environment, do not work on any of your client’s confidential documents.

In most cases, designers use their own equipment. However, we can provide software licenses as needed, and if you’re a full-time team member in need of new hardware to meet project demands, we’re open to making arrangements.

Any hardware we provide remains the property of Predi Designs. It must be used strictly for work-related purposes and returned if your engagement with the company ends.

We don’t guarantee annual raises or bonuses, but they are absolutely on the table. Performance, client satisfaction, and company growth all play a role in determining if and when they’re awarded.

Client Interaction & Ownership

Our full-time designers work directly with clients and own the creative execution from start to finish. We trust our team to communicate professionally and deliver high-quality work that fully belongs to the businesses we serve.

Yes! Every client is assigned a full-time designer who becomes their go-to creative partner. You’ll communicate directly via email for requests, updates, and feedback. This relationship builds trust and consistency over time.

We encourage our designers to contact each other for advice, feedback, or support if necessary.

The client. All intellectual property rights belong fully to the businesses we serve. Our role is to execute, support, and deliver top-tier work on their behalf.

Predi Designs only retains the right to withhold deliverables in the event of subscription payment lapses.

Most designers start with a few brands to get familiar with our process. Over time, if you’re comfortable and effective, we will assign more clients based on your bandwidth and skillset.

Not all subscriptions are equal. Some clients have several brands underneath their subscription. These factors are considered when assigning clientele and compensating the designer.

Our clients communicate directly with their assigned designer, but we also encourage using clear project queues and open communication to help you stay organized and manage deadlines efficiently.

Predi Designs has high ethical standards for our employees.

Cross-client contamination is strictly prohibited. Under no circumstance should you reference, discuss, or share information about one client with another. Several of our clients operate in the same industry, and even small disclosures could harm their competitive edge.

Additionally, any confidential or proprietary information obtained during your work must never be used for personal or financial gain, including insider trading or related activities.
